My name is Gael and along with Garry  and our 3 kids, we host the B&B. Garry & I love cooking, going to the cinema and of course, travelling. In my downtime, I walk the dogs, read and knit.

 

We moved into our home in Mount Temple 18 years ago after spotting the little cottage which we fell in love with. The original stone part of the house is about 100 yrs old and we set about enlarging and refurbishing what was there.  The 2 apartments which were designed and decorated by myself and  have a wonderfully eclectic and cosy ambience that is unique to our accommodation

I opened The Village  B&B and self catering apartments 10 years ago after my friend ran the idea by me. Initially I was very sceptical as to who would want to come and stay "in the middle of nowhere". However I was proved wrong, finding that people love the solitude, the gardens, the dogs and the location.
