Our home is situated in a beautiful rural location on 1.4 acres of gardens, yet only 5 minute walk from Mount Temple village. It's a 10 minute drive to Athlone and 5 minutes to Moate.
The 2 apartments which were designed by Gael, have a unique eclectic and rustic charm with lots of personal touches. It is NOT a new Ikea clad space.
Our house is right beside the apt, so we are close by for all your needs or any information that you might require. If you need ....some sugar or soy sauce.....whatever it is, we will endeavor to help.
We love dogs and you are welcome to bring yours too. 5 minutes drive away, there is a lovely 30 min walk along the bog and woods where our dogs (Oscar & Zoe) loved to be walked.
The new cycleway, The Old Rail Trail ..Mulingar to Athlone Greenway ,is 3 kms from our house.

"This was the perfect place to get away to. When we arrived we were welcomed by the dogs, shortly followed by the hosts themselves. We had our own dog with us so it was great she had dogs to keep her occupied. The Apartment was fantastic, very comfortable, modern and warm. The local (not even 5 mins walk) served the best pint of Guinness ive had in a while and filled up on some great grub as well. The perfect area to fully relax while still only 10 mins to the centre of Athlone. I would have no problems staying or recommending this place again. Thanks for everything " David ...march 2016
